Destrox 0 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 Hi, I would like to know if is there a way to change the order in which movies appear on the home screen. It's showing me movies from the 90s, I want it to show me the latest releases, like it does on Plex or others. I'm a Premiere user, so I don't know if that will affect anything.

There's a dedicated "Recently Released" Home Screen row that you can enable. Also, you can use Timelord plugin which will write Release date as Date added for all your movies.

So I have to pay $6 to sort a plugin that hasn't received updates in six years? The recently added option only affects movies, not the rest. Emby should include this option as standard as others already do.

What is the standard as some like there media to show when added/imported and others don't. So Emby has two options. 33 minutes ago, Destrox said: So I have to pay $6 to sort a plugin that hasn't received updates in six years? As for the plugin there is absolutely nothing to change in over 6 years when all it does is use the db premiere date and copy it to date added column. But in the end the "Recently Released Movies" row already does exactly what you want. 1

You can just use what he said: Quote There's a dedicated "Recently Released" Home Screen row that you can enable.

Or maybe it has a scheduled task. Please note this plugin is not built or maintained by the Emby team. @BeppoMonkeyBoyis the developer.
