How To Create A Library with Photos and Downloaded Metadata

I have an adult library that contains both videos and photos. My content is arranged so that all media for a specific actress is in one folder. I found a third party metadata downloader for adult content and I'd like to use it. I want to be able to access both photos and videos and download metadata for my videos. I thought maybe if I just create two libraries from the same root folder I could solve my problem. However, I recently learned this won't work because Emby doesn't like when the same folder is in two different libraries : "A typical cause of empty libraries is overlapping paths between libraries." 

The "Home videos & photos" library type doesn't allow me to choose any metadata downloaders or image fetchers. The "Mixed Content" type doesn't support photos. Is there no way to both use metadata downloaders and have photos in the same library? Is there a reason why "Mixed Content" doesn't support photos? I apologize if any of these questions have already been answered. I scoured the forums but haven't been able to find a similar case of wanting photos AND using metadata downloaders.
