Some things that I either can't tell or bugs are just app features I don't like

Hello, I use the app basically every day and over time I've noticed some things that (as the title says) are either bugs or app design features that I'm not a fan of. If its the ladder, that's fine I just wanted clarification.

1. When on either cellular data or poor connection (I can't tell which is the cause). In one of those situations, the app will be able to recognize where I left off watching the video. But when the video loads and starts playing, it restarts from the beginning. Then when leaving the video the watch progress resets to 0. This has caused me to lose watch progression.

2. Changing brightness while in the video player will be reverted back once leaving the video. Its very jarring when brightness changes dramatically just by leaving the video.

3. Rotation lock setting is ignored. Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, I just don't like it.

4. What determines if a show is "completed" and thus doesn't show under continue watching? I watch podcasts that I get really close to the end of the video and on my phone will not show up under "Continue Watching". But my AppleTV will. Not sure if this is a setting I can change?

Lastly I appreciate all the work the dev team does on the app! This post isnt meant to be negative, just wanted to share feedback and get an idea of some of these things I've noticed.

Hi, there is an option in the app related to this. How have you configured it?

Hi, have you checked out the resume settings in your library options?

Hi Luke. Thanks for responses on 3 and 4. I found the options in settings and have adjusted them accordingly.

iPhone 16 pro max. Auto brightness is off if that matters.
