spincycle999 12 Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 I added a new movie library, no metadata found. I tried to manually identify, no results found. I've tried removing and re-adding the library and refreshing metadata, no luck. Attached please find screenshots of setup, as well as latest log. Direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! FYI, I also added a TV show library, data was returned. embyserver.txt
pwhodges 2012 Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Let us see the folder structure and file names for the library - also the name of the folder which you specified in the Emby library setup. Paul
pwhodges 2012 Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Emby expects each movie to be in a folder with the movie's name (and preferably date); the folder name is then what is looked up in the metadata databases (not generally the file name). Paul 1
Luke 42077 Posted July 23, 2025 Posted July 23, 2025 Your naming is mostly OK. The real issue is that all outgoing requests to MovieDb are timing out and failing. Could you have something blocking those outgoing requests?
spincycle999 12 Posted July 23, 2025 Author Posted July 23, 2025 Thanks for the info. I didn't see any block. I ended up uninstalling the The Movie DB plugin, then reinstalled. It looks like that did the trick. Best wishes!

Your log also contains the same kinds of failures to tvdb, as well as checking for updates, etc. So you've got something going on that is blocking the server from sending those outgoing requests. Typical causes are firewall, security software or VPN. Please look into those and let us know what you find. Thanks.
