Hi there, what exactly makes you think nothing happens ? The download happens in the background.

One would assume if the content was available in the download folder after all this there wouldn't be a complaint.🤦‍♂️ I'm getting the same behaviour, get the pop up suggesting download started, but none of the push notifications, and nothing ever populated to the download section, and God forbid the app offer any sort of error message. 😒

Yes, you really get no indication on the app that anything is happening.  The only real indication is on the server side and even then it requires understanding of the chain of events in the "Download" process.  If a file requires conversion based on your choice Mbps then you will "conversion progress".  If conversion is not required, (I am looking at my dashboard) this specific movie is sitting in a "Ready to Transfer" mode.  When will it trigger the transfer??  That can be seen in the "Scheduled Tasks" section.  My is set to trigger every 3 hours.  When is the start timer for this?  I dunno, since I did not set it.  The Task is baked in which can be deleted and you can recreate yours to run every 30 minutes if you wish.

I do not believe it's "Real Time" as I suspect that is what you think should happen and most of don't want to think about the "Download" processes logic.

I reread this entire thread and not once did you mention "it throws up an error when trying to remove"  That is an entirely different issue and maybe the root cause of your issue.  Maybe you should cause the error again, then post the logs for dev's to take a look at.  Just a thought.  Super weird how you don't even mention WHAT the error states at the bare minimum.  Sorry I left my mind reading powers at home.  Or we all can try to keep guessing....

Because I like many others here have several Android devices both tablets and phones and downloading does indeed work.

Could be files require conversion and you don't have the paths setup

Maybe you have the paths setup but not enough space

Maybe you server freaks out when trying to convert and fails

I can keep guessing but I'm bored now.  Good luck to you if you ever post any logs or even state what the error says.
