Does the Backup & Restore plugin backup photo metadata?

If so, would Emby remember the metadata of my photos, if any change was made on them, including changing their folders' names, file names, moving to another library and so on.

I see the metadata can be stored in nfo, but I guess the nfos are not put in the photo's folder. I wanna tag some of my photos, but I kinda fear they would be all gone if I restore or do something.

HI, yes the backup plugin keeps your entire server database.

Thank you. Also, does the restoration only depend on photo's path and file name? If I changed any of it, would the restoration lose track of my photos and the metadata'd be gone?

Yes, but normally for photos metadata is embedded inside the photo itself. If this is the case for your photos, then it will be preserved.
