Two movies interpreted as one in two parts

I'm running emby 4.8.11.0 on a QNAS TS-464 NAS.

I've just added two movies:

  • The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1 and
  • The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2

The movies were released separately in 2014 and 2015 but emby considers the second movie as an "Additional Part".

The "Part 2" movies has no IMDB number, no release date and no "Cast & Crew".

Of course it cannot be made "independent" separating it from the "Part 1".

How is your media organized?

What is exact naming scheme?

If both movies are in one folder then Emby will stack them like this as all it knows is part 1 and part 2 should be one item.

But easiest resolution would be adding year or separate folders.

Thank you!

It works. As expected. I added the year and the two file have been considered as two separate movies.

Personally I consider this solution as a "workaround". There should be a way to link/unlink two or more videos; especially when they are movies and can be found in IMDB with distinct IDs.

Thanks again!
