Intro skip button doesnt work

Hi,

Hi everyone,

I have an Emby Premiere account and would like to use the "Skip Intro" feature when watching TV series. On my Fire Stick, I do see the "Skip Intro" button appear during playback, but when I press it, nothing happens.

Is there anything I need to configure for this feature to work properly? Any help would be appreciated.

I checked intro skip section but still doesnt work, therefore I created this topic.

What exactly did you check? Can you show screenshots of how it is configured for your TV library and the Scheduled Task showing when it was last run and for how long?

I set the markers "as a scheduled task and when media is added. For the scheduled task , it is default detect episodes intros 24 hours and I have more then 2 episodes.

What is the experience when using the web client?

Are you able to try the standard Android on your Fire TV device to see how it compares? Search "Emb" in the Amazon store, you should see two different apps to install.

I see two Emby . I installed "Emby for FireTV". I tested on my android phone and skip intro works actually.

Right, so you should install the other one on your Fire TV device and see how it compares.

Both apps are now designed for large screen TV devices, in fact the non-TV app is more updated and is where Dev focus is.
