Emby for Samsung 2.2.5 (that is the most recent version available in apps for me). Already tried uninstalling/re-installing the app. No dice. Same issue reported here: Looks like we are stuck on 2.2.5 with these TVs and the Youtube issue never got fixed. Edited February 26 by vicviper
ebr 16328 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Ok, yeah. That is one of the big issues with the native TV platforms other than the standards like Android TV. It can take ages for the TV provider to approve updates and they tend to cut off updates after just a few years. This is all out of our control, unfortunately but is another advantage to external devices.

Okay, I think the YT trailers were fixed in 2.1.28 You can either sign up for the beta channel to get it from the store or just download the apk from the link below and sideload it. 1

Been having this issue for months, updated to the latest, currently 4.10.04 server and error on Nvidia shield, Sony TV, and Onn Pro all with Emby for Android TV 2.1.23 but it does work on my phone Emby for Android and other TVs also with Emby for Android 3.5.28. This was fixed long time ago. Read the comments above on how to get the beta. You need to be running 2.1.28 or later.
