Trailers no longer working

Hey guys, any news on this issue? I am still unable to play trailers from Youtube on a 2019 Samsung Smart TV.

Emby for Samsung 2.2.5 (that is the most recent version available in apps for me). Already tried uninstalling/re-installing the app. No dice.

Looks like we are stuck on 2.2.5 with these TVs and the Youtube issue never got fixed.

Ok, yeah.  That is one of the big issues with the native TV platforms other than the standards like Android TV.  It can take ages for the TV provider to approve updates and they tend to cut off updates after just a few years.  This is all out of our control, unfortunately but is another advantage to external devices.

What version are you running?  Works in 2.1.43 for me.

Okay, I think the YT trailers were fixed in 2.1.28

You can either sign up for the beta channel to get it from the store or just download the apk from the link below and sideload it.
