The emby app on roku is still version 4.1. When will a new version come out with the same emby layout that you get on the web ?

Sorry but what layout are you referring too?  As I see the same layout as the web client.

In the web application, and the windows desktop app, we get the left hand side bar, that allows for better navigation. Like the picture I uploaded ?

I don't believe the Navbar has been added to the Roku as there are quite a few limitations to that platform.  But @ebror @speechleswill have to confirm.

Oh okay, Thank you !  I have been trying out Emby for a few years now, I really prefer it over plex. I want to switch to emby from Plex, but there are some things holding me back, mainly family preferences on ease of use to view.  example Playlists in plex you can add them to the home screen, and the layout looks like the picture below. Emby also allows you to add playlist to the home screen, but it adds it like a block. Maybe I just have not find out the setting that allows the media to be displayed separately.  

This might not fall under the Roku section, and if it needs to be moved I will create a new topic.

Hi.  We don't currently have plans for that side menu in the Roku app because that just isn't a normal Roku UX but we may add it in the future.
