Hi, I'm running Emby on a D923+ Synology NAS and tried to download the Trailers plugin, but instead of the section working, it created a new folder in the main section (near movies, shows, music, etc.). What am I doing wrong? Also, the green link does not direct to the plugin, but instead to the catalog.

Hi, this has been resolved as part of the upcoming 4.9 server release. Thanks.

I'm running Version 4.8.11.0, how do I get 4,9?

You have to install the beta version over your current install found via your platform download page.

Download Emby - Emby

But note if you install the beta version you can not downgrade without a clean install of restoring a full backup of Emby before the installation of 4.9 do to database changes.

This is how I back it up, right? It will not affect the media metadata (images etc) if I upgrade/downgrade right?

Hi, you cannot degrade from 4.9 to 4.8 without having to do a fresh install, so just be aware of that.
