LordVZlomka 6 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Hi, on the main page, along the Movies, Shows, and Music, a new folder is automatically created named "Collections". I can rename any folder except the "Collections" by right-clicking and selecting "Rename". In the Collections folder settings, the option is missing, along with many others.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 (edited) It is by design and handled by language translations scripts within Emby string files (\system\dashboard-ui\modules\common\strings). As this folder is auto generated by Emby so everything in hard coded. Edited July 14, 2025 by Happy2Play

Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Overall issue will be that file only applies to the web client. Dev would have to confirm here but think the only options in your case would be using the api to rePost an updated config for that library. @Luke But do not know the side effects with this automated folder.

I see, it's strange. I recently migrated from Jellyfin, and it didn't have an issue with renaming it. Thanks!
Luke 42077 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Yea I guess there's no way right now but we should add that. Thanks.
