Hardware Acceleration for Audio not Working

I have noticed that sometimes ffmpeg is running on the CPU instead of transferring that to quicksync. I see the hardware acceleration icon for the video, but not for the audio. Is this by design? Or am I configuring some settings wrong?

There is no such thing as hardware acceleration for audio.

I guess technically there is with a Sound Card but in general HWA is offloading the video processing to hardware (gpu/igpu).
