ginjaninja 605 Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 (edited) @Angelblue05 When opening the skill with "Alexa, ask mb home" could there be an option to have a very quick response like just "Emby"...the current inroduction is very long amd when youve heard it once the length just gets i the way. Opening the skill and applying an action in the same command "Alexa, ask m.b. home play the song XYZ" is so hit and miss, if it was quick to do in 2 steps tha would be a great boon to accuracy... ie 1. Alexa "ask m.b home" 2. "Emby" 3. "Play the song XYZ" thanks for considering. Edited July 13, 2025 by ginjaninja

Hi@Luke Suggestions shortest - "Emby" (my preference - shorter the better) short - "Emby Here, How can i assist?" Normal - current Custom - If good latency/responsiveness to issue commands is maintained, then a prerecorded wav file (or would that be text input) of user's choice.
ginjaninja 605 Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 Hello Im emby, how can i assist you, for example, you can say play a few songs. 1
