Window is moving 1 pixel to the right when starting to play a video

The app, when not in fullscreen, is moving 1 pixel to the right - after a video starts to play. I can reproduce this and this happens all the time (since many month...).

So when I play multiple videos the window will get out of screen. That's really annoying.

For me it's that the window gets 1 pixel wider (on the right) each time it's opened.  When I reported this I was given a reason why it is done deliberately, but I'm sure there will be a way around it.

Yes, you are right! It grows! It's so super annoying (it's also annoying that I can't edit my own posts in this board ).

I hope they fix it ASAP. Plex never had such problems. Or VLC and so on... haven't seen such a thing in my life before.

sorry for the inconvenience. The point is not that it's difficult to fix but that each possible way of fixing it comes with a substantial risk to have side effects.
In many cases, changes are straightforward and you can be pretty sure that it will work out exactly as intended. These kinds of changes can be made as part of maintenance updates. But changes with risks have to be done during a beta period, where changes are carefully tested before getting released.
It's on the list and you can be sure that it will be taken care of during the next beta phase.

Looks like you don't have an active beta right new - but maybe I am wrong, site is built a bit "magically"

Not at the moment. Please consider that the new app has been released just 8 months ago.

But all the things that have come up so far have been recorded internally and the intention is to get them all covered at once (as far as possible).

Not for the Windows app, right. There's a Linux app beta which is served from the same code base and existing participants of the Windows beta will receive new versions, but these are only to verify that nothing gets broken on the Windows side. There are no Windows-specific updates and fixes.
