FatherSaint 25 Posted July 8, 2025 Posted July 8, 2025 I've always named my external subitles using the format of MovieName (Year).en.srt Rednoah of Filebot helped me to craft a very specific script for naming and suggested that I use .eng for the subtitles instead of .en. I have a powershell script that makes renaming the subtitles from .en to .eng a super easy operation, but I wonder if it matters to Emby which language extension is used??
FatherSaint 25 Posted July 10, 2025 Author Posted July 10, 2025 Thank you. That's kind of what I thought because I did a limited test and Emby didn't seem to care at all. 1
