Any way to speed up the media library scanning?

I have just reinstalled Windows and got everything running. For the past 16h, emby is still scanning the library but the progress is extremely slow, I'm at 16% now.

None of the resources are taxed out, with the CPU hovering at less than 2% and the hdds the same.

my pc is an AMD 9800X3D, 64GB RAM, Win11, and Emby is installed on a Samsung Evo 990 and running latest stable emby version, 4.8.xxxx

 

Is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Hi.  What options did you choose?  There are some that are specifically labeled as producing slower scans (e.g. thumb creation or intro skip).

How big is your library?  What kind of content?  How is it organized?
