TV Shows - by release date on home - will this work?

I've struggled to understand for a while now why I can sort TV Shows by Release Date here:

but can't add it to the home screen here:

Then I came across this old post from 2022 regarding the same issue in Jellyfin:

https://www.tweaking4all.com/forum/home-theatre/jellyfin-how-to-make-latest-movies-and-latest-tv-shows-show-latest-released-instead-of-latest-added/

Does anyone want to weigh in if this would work for Emby?

UPDATE TypedBaseItems SET DateCreated=PremiereDate;

I know this is an ugly solution - but for someone like me running https://github.com/plexguide/Huntarr.io I'm always polluting my "Latest TV shows" section with old episodes which doesn't help my WAF.

Cheers!

...or install TimeLordTV plugin from the catalogue and automate process, else you'll be forced to constantly mess with the db.

We can look at supporting that as a home screen section.
