If the video quality is not selected as automatic, and other resolutions and bit rates are selected for transcoding, the video will be very stuck or cannot be played directly. I checked that my graphics card gtx1650 can encode and decode videos in addition to av1 format, but other formats can be used. OK, I don't use Windows system anymore, I use Synology DVA3221 version 7.2.1 instead, I can call my graphics card to transcode, but I have to uncheck the option starting with Nvdia in the settings and check the option starting with CUDA. Now it can be used normally, but the emby version is still 4.8.8.0. Synology's suite updates very slowly, but it doesn't matter, as long as it can be used now. I am most afraid that the suite will not work after the update, after all, Synology version 7.2.2 no longer supports hardware transcoding. I hope the emby update of the suite will not affect the transcoding, thank you

hi, for some this is normal as there are two different techniques that can be used with Nvidia. It's not always possible to auto-detect which one should be used, so some will have to configure it manually. Thanks.
