Daddlysquat 0 Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 Not sure if this is an Emby problem or Youtube. On my AppleTV, I have the "Parent Lock" setting turned on so that my kids can only access their child profiles. If they try to access my profile, it prompts for a 4 digit code. Well, if they use the trailer preview feature within Emby, it opens the adult profile in Youtube, bypasses the lock, and then lets them watch any Youtube video. Ideally, when Youtube is launched, it would respect the lock setting and prompt for the code and then fail to open if the code is invalid.
Luke 42077 Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Hi, we're basically launching these with a youtube url. We don't have any ability to specify what user it gets opened with. Would it not make sense then to just restrict trailer content from your children's user profile?
