Nounours_131219 1 Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 Hello, I don't know what to do after installing Emby on my Synology Nas server. I uninstalled it because it was in conflict with Jellyfin, then I deleted Jellyfin because it was too slow and Emby is much more responsive, so I reinstalled it but it doesn't want to hear anything anymore. I tried several times and it doesn't work anymore. I have a Forbidden error even though I uninstalled Emby and deleted everything related to Emby Server, etc., but nothing works. I really don't know what to do anymore. Can you help me please? Thank you.
Nounours_131219 1 Posted June 30, 2025 Author Posted June 30, 2025 Thank you, everything is done except for the Cmd commands on Windows 10. I can't connect to Shs. I don't know how to do it. I've never done that. Can you help me please?

Nounours_131219 1 Posted June 30, 2025 Author Posted June 30, 2025 I'm stuck here, I don't know which file to delete. I tried to delete a file and it refuses, so I don't know what to do. Sorry, but SSH commands aren't really my thing.
FrostByte 5392 Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 Did you do the "sudo -i" for privilege mode? Why not delete the folder rm -r EmbyServer - will delete EmbyServer and all contents If you prefer a gui and use Windows then see the link H2P posted for WinSCP.
Nounours_131219 1 Posted June 30, 2025 Author Posted June 30, 2025 I would like to delete it but it doesn't work...
FrostByte 5392 Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 All Emby files are installed under the following folders by default: /volume1/@appdata/EmbyServer /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer
Nounours_131219 1 Posted June 30, 2025 Author Posted June 30, 2025 Thanks, but that still doesn't tell me how to delete them or how to access: /volume1/@appdata/EmbyServer /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServe
FrostByte 5392 Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 If you want to delete those two folders and everything in them then SSH into your NAS like before and try the following: sudo -i sudo synopkg stop EmbyServer cd / rm -r /volume1/@appdata/EmbyServer rm -r /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer If that doesn't work, then post the new screenshots 1 1
Nounours_131219 1 Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 This is really simpler to understand. I followed your instructions and it works. Thank you very much for your help.
