Live TV can't fast forward or rewind on fireTV

This is not good, I really need Closed Captions. But I also want the forward and rewind to work with live TV. I will need to continue using Channels DVR for live TV, even though Emby has some great features that I was hoping to use. Oh well, maybe they will find a fix before we lose live TV to ATSC 3.0 DRM.

The basic issue is unable to get Closed Captions to work along with live seek at the same time while watching live tv. 

Server version: 4.8.11.0 on Windows 11 pro

Sony Google TV, Firestick 4k Max (2nd gen), Samsung Android phone all on client version 3.4.74, all don't work for me.

1. Subtitles (basically Closed Captions) set to Hearing Impaired in the app settings.

2. All other settings at Default. Playing live tv, I get Closed Captions just fine, but I can't perform live seek (rewind or forward). So I can't rewind to rewatch something I just saw.

3. In order to enable live seek, I have been using the setting: Force Conversion for formats: MPEGTS enabled. Now I can do live seek, no problem moving back on the timeline and rewatching something that has already played. But Closed Captions on longer work at all watching live tv. 

Firestick 4k Max (2nd Gen) using old/other version: Emby for FireTV 2.1.26a

Both Closed Captions and live seek work, which is great. But the new Android version is so much better that I find this older version hard to use.

The problems I am having are not difficult to duplicate; they are very consistent. I have seen other reports about the live seek problem.
