fraenhawk 61 Posted June 28, 2025 Posted June 28, 2025 (running server 4.8.11.0) I can't reproduce this in the Web interface so I believe this is only a Roku issue. I was binge watching an anime that has English ASS embedded subtitles. If I turn them on for an episode, when I get to the end of that episode and choose the play next button to skip credits and jump to the next item, if I check the subtitles on that 2nd episode it will say that the English subs are already on, but during playback they aren't really. I have to toggle them off and back on again for them to show. It's like the GUI is inheriting (caching) the state of the previous episode rather than showing what the actual state of audio/subs is.
Luke 42077 Posted June 28, 2025 Posted June 28, 2025 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
ebr 16169 Posted June 28, 2025 Posted June 28, 2025 Hi. I believe this is a known issue with the 4.8 server. Your default subs based on your settings should be selected but the "remember subs I selected last time" feature is not reliable in the current server version. If you have a chance to test this in the 4.9 beta please let us know. 1
