Serving up Non-media files inside of libraries

Hi,

I am still new to Emby and still learning about it.  I searched for this subject but I didn't really find what I was looking for.  I realize Emby is primarily a media server and that is its core function.  However, I wanted to ask if it is possible to serve non-media files (.zips, .rar, .xls, .exe, etc)?  All I am looking for is to have Emby list them in a library and allow someone to download them.  I don't want Emby to do anything with the files other than that.  Is there a plugin for this or a way to do it?

The reason I ask, is that some media come with other files;  For example, some CD's have data files or interactive files or scads of picture files (which I do not want to use as fanart), as do some DVD/BluRays, some instructional series have project files or starter files (such as learning a programming language and you have all the source code files), etc.

Ok, anyway, I am assuming there isn't really a way to do this, but I thought I would ask in case someone knew how.  Thanks.

Also, sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this question.

Hi, ,not exactly. The closest thing would be to use .disc stub files.
