jjcc39 0 Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 Hi, Looks like my Emby app auto updated and its having some issues loading media. I have verified on other devices as well as older TVs, and this issue does not occur. Attached is embyserver log file. Load in Emby App Select media (media loads with no settings/controls, just blue loading circle) Eventually (after 5-15 minutes) the media loads and plays fine. This happens with the TV on both Wired and Wireless. We've been using this TV with everything setup this way for 1-2 years now, the only thing that could of recently changed is the version of the app. I have followed other instructions of removing the app, turning TV off and leaving it for 10-15 minutes then redownloading and logging back in and this has not resolved the issue. Checked nvtop on the GPU used for HW acceleration during the loading and there is no usage spike, originally I thought it was stuck transcoding. I have also attached an image of the stats for nerds of the media after I have waited for it to load and it starts playing. SamES 1056 Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 Direct Play with Opus stopped being supported at some point as it was causing a lot of issues, so that might be causing it to transcode now. As to why it takes so long to start playback, I'm not sure about that.
