Sort by File Name works if file name is only numbers but fails when named DJI_XXXXXXX

I am trying to use EMBY to see my home videos and sorting by file name seems to work with my camera that labels the file names with just numbers...
HOWEVER
The folder to holds my DJI camera picture has all file names starting with DJI_XXX and it seems to have trouble sorting by file name

I uploaded the directory structure just in case it helps

I found an old thread with the same issue in 2023 and this user was also having trouble with file names starting with DJI_XXXX is there any update to this progress?

Thanks in Advance

OK I think this should be improved as part of the upcoming 4.9 server release. Thanks.

i come before you humbly without trying to sound like a rude person, and remember i am not a programmer i have no idea if this requires some major rewrite or just some minor bug fix... but back in september 24, 2023 you said the same thing, maybe it something that required a major rewrite and you havent been able to get to it until 4.9 but im hoping itll be fixed for 4.9.. fingers crossed! If for whatever reason you think it may take a lot longer maybe its better i just rename the videos to numbers...

is the problem that it starts with DJI_XXXX and i need to remove all the DJI_XXX or is it another problem with the naming that i can easily address for the time being?

A lot of work has been done on sorting in 4.9, just as there was in 4.8. I can test these files personally if we can make a small enough test case.

Can you create a new folder of 3-5 files that exhibits the issue? If you can do that then please copy and paste the file names into here and I'll recreate the scenario myself. Thanks.

All i did was make blank mp4 and jpg files using these names and loaded them into emby and you can see if just randomly kind of lays them out
