Latest Media - (Latest Movies and Shows) Jumps to suggestions

Each section of the home screen has an option to jump to a default screen. For example movie jumps to Movies and not suggestions.
For "latest media" when I click on the title Latest Movies, how can I set it to jump to movies and not suggestions? I cannot see an option for Home Screen Preferences and "Latest Media"

Clicking on the Latest Movies link above the row on the home page is set to go only to Suggestions.  There is no adjustment to this link.

If you click on the Movies Library thumbnail in My Media row, the choice of where to go is adjustable inside User's Side menu / Home Screen / Default screen selection down the page.  Pick your preference from the pull down selection for each Library.  Each user can set this differently.

If you would like an adjustment as well for the first link described above, look first in feature suggestion to see if anyone has also requested this.  If not, you could start a new feature request post.  I think, you may be the first and only person who wants this.  It may not be that important to most users.  Essentially the automatic link to Suggestions tab, at least, offers a new page with options that people don't see when they go to the Library directly from My Media thumbnail poster.  Offering this, I think, enhances the site experience.  I would vote not to change this link to Suggestions, at all.

Yes, is this so that it suggests the latest movies? I dont really want to see because you watched x you might want to watch y.
For both latest movie and tv shows I always have to then click movies or shows after it shows suggestions so an option to change it would be good, as there is an option for the rest of them. 

Everyone should have options. To turn on or off should be up to the user, as with the other sections.

Hi.  Correct.  The suggestions page is where the latest media for that library is shown.

It shows because you watched x here is Y.... 
That has nothing to do with latest movies. 

Is the suggestions tab sorting by ?? data added? and unwatched If so why not just go to movies with the date added filter?

I guess the issue is that if we used your default tab, then let's say you configured Genres as your default tab....having Latest Movies link to the Genres tab would be a little weird, no?

He's asking for a separate option or for it to go to the "Main" tab meaning "Movies" or "Series" depending on library type.

IMO, it would be best if it brought up that view sorted by date added and I think that is also an existing FR.

I ran into the same thing before. The "Latest Media" widget doesn’t have a way to change its link target it will always open the suggestions view. Right now only the main home screen sections (like Movies, TV, Music) can be set to go straight to their library screens in Home Screen Preferences. Hopefully they add more control for widgets in the future.
