They are slowly moving to the new standard Android app which you can either be downloaded from GitHub or from the Android store by searching "Emby". The version should be listed there. ATV and the new Android app can be run side-by-side if you wish. 1
FrostByte 5392 Posted June 21, 2025 Posted June 21, 2025 As far as server, you can join the 4.9x beta. I'm running it on my NAS with no issues. I haven't seen anything posted yet when that will go stable though.

FrostByte 5392 Posted June 21, 2025 Posted June 21, 2025 I'm using it on my Shield with a remote. It should work on TVs also with remote when in "TV Mode", but my TV is Tizen so can't say for sure.

My experience of the Synology server has been stable for months. I'm sure the team are working on things behind the scenes and they do respond to reported issues. But if nothing is reported, there's not a lot of calls for an update. Guess I'm a happy Emby user
