Long press on a media type/library (Tv shows) Option to scan/update library from appletv app went away.

the scan option to scan library was there and is now missing.  long press on say TV shows has “play, shuffle, add to playlist, mark played” it used to have scan/update.  Where did it go?  Will it come back?  Thanks :D.  Love your stuff.

The scan option to scan library was there and is now missing.  long press on say TV shows has “play, shuffle, add to playlist, mark played” it used to have scan/update.  Where did it go?  Will it come back?  Was this an oops or by design?  Version 1.8.8 (2) has the option. 1.9.9. (6) does not.  Same emby server.  The 1.8.8 version the entire screen goes grey and shows the options the 1.9.9 version just shows a popup and you an still see the media libraries on the screen.  Both apple tvs are a2169 (32GB/64GB) they are both running tvOS 18.5.

Having to go into the server or web interface to update it that way is a drag.  I attempted to find this information by searching forums but there are so many people with scanning performance issues I wasnt able to find a good reference after looking for quite some time.

Hi @cul8rmom1are you sure that the user that you're signed in with is an admin user on your server?

I thought about that being the issue after reading other posts.  So I made sure to log in with the same user on both appletvs.  I will go do it again just to make sure.  I will update the app on the other appletv that works and see if option goes away.  Then I will log back in and out.  I might try doing it locally as well.  Not using emby connect and see if there is a behavior change.

Here is a pretty definitive video.  Went into app.  Options there.  Updated app.  Option not there.  Didnt log out there was no interruption in the video.  Thoughts?

just wanted to check on the progress.  This might have been a double post.  If so, sorry about that.

If you want me to try any combinations of server side software etc.  (Running Emby on ESX in a windows VM with hardware transcoding via m2000 or p620 quadro cards.)

4.8.11.0 running on the server.  I just checked it a few days ago.  Just updated it and it is there now!!!! Nice job!!!
