Live TV can't fast forward or rewind on fireTV

On All three of my fire TVs EMBY app can't fast forward or rewind live TV all of a sudden. Anyone else experiencing this? Or is this a just me thing?

I get a message when I try to FF or RW or pause Live TV that says something to the effect that the playback mode needs to be changed. I have never tried changing the mode as, when it happens for me, it is almost always a mistake as I really have no need or desire for FF, RW or pause for live TV. When the message appears I just dismiss it.
Of course I would use it a LOT if I could FF into the future.

I had this same problem until I turned on forced conversions for the mpegts format, in the Android app playback settings. At which point I lost closed captions for live and recorded TV.

nothing happens, when i hit left or right on dpad it does nothing other than keep the osd up same for fast forward and rewind buttons

thank you it has the same result for me, much better than having no live dvr
