Emby not showing up in Roku App

I'm not sure if this is roku related so posting here.  I have 2 instances of emby server running, one on a NUC and one on my laptop.  I sync my media so when I travel I can watch/pickup from whatever movies/shows I'm on.

Both run Win 11 and configured the same as I do backup/restore back and forth when I'm away and home.

So this happens when say power goes out long enough that all devices loose power.  Then I launch emby on my roku and my instance on my laptop shows up, but not my NUC.  Laptop is on wifi, NUC is wired but both on same network.  Both should have pretty close to same firewall rules, but I've even disabled the firewall on my NUC and it still doesn't show up after a power outage.

I can add the instance on my NUC manually and everything will be fine for awhile till another power issue.

Looking for suggestions on what else I can try.  Adding isn't that bad, just would be nice that after an event on my local lan I wouldn't have to do that and why it is that the one on my laptop shows up and the NUC doesn't.

HI, is the server LAN ip address changing?

No both are in the same DHCP pool, although for my NUC I have set a reservation and port forward so I can access it externally.

Hi.  Exactly what do you mean by "shows up"?

When I launch Emby without being signed in, it will list any emby servers it sees on the network.  Same screen you can sign in or add a server.  The instance running on my laptop always show up, even if I delete it and then close out of the emby app and launch it again it shows back up.

Am I wrong in thinking that emby announces itself on the local network and the app sees it and list it as a server?

This screen.  W11-L1 is the emby server that always shows up even when I delete it, relaunch the app it is there and signed out.

If that server is actively running on your local network  then that is normal. That just means the app is redetecting it again after you've deleted it.

Both are actively running

Edit: Ah ok, I shut one down and now the one on my NUC is showing up.  So maybe it cause they have the same ID or something like that?

Sounds like it yes, which could happen if you cloned them.

Yes during this process you will need to uncheck serverid if both systems are running at the same time.

You can shutdown Emby and manually delete the /programdata/data/device.txt as start Emby to generate a new one.

I recall having that checked the 1st few times and then started unchecking it.  Is there a way I can somehow change it now so they don't match?
