To see which nodes are available, I would not use the list in the skin customization. That's way to tricky if you are not sure what's the one you need. Use Kodi's video addons in Kodi's addon menu. There you have full access to every node available from e4k plugin. I think, what you want is under dynamic nodes -> TVShows -> continue watching, but double check the nodes. Once you know what you need, use the skin customization tools.

You can use it already even it's tagged as public testing.

12.X major change is supporting Kodi 22 and it's still alpha.

Current stable (11.X) supports Emby 4.9.X server.

It looks like something was changed in the current Emby Server Beta Line, here 4.9.2.3/4.

Syncing needs now much more time, compared to the older Beta Server it feels like 5-10x slower now.

I use the current E4K 12.3.4.

I can provide logs if you tell me wich ones....server, kodi,...

Might be related as there may be an overall problem with slowness doing some tasks in the last couple of betas.  Only seems to be affecting some people though.

I'm still on 4.9.2.2 beta which is similar to latest stable version, quite sure it's a server issue. I'll update my test server, but it has only a small amount of content.

I would try again with 4.9.2.5 which looks like it's going up now.

It seems 4.9.2.5 fixes the slowness problem so far. the usual start sync looks fast again on my clients.

I will test some repair syncs later.

I did some database repairs and the usual startup syncs, from my feeling the beta server line 4.9.2.x is still with the latest one abit slower than the previous 4.9.1.x servers.

I guess there will come more changes in the server in the near future....

The turbo ist back, sync is now maybe faster as with the previous beta server 4.9.1.xx

Just an FYI.

After doing some additional testing, I think I've found the issue.
After changing the setting: Emby Server>Library>Documentaries>"Merge the contents of the top level folders when using folder view"
and switch it "ON" the problem went away.

I did need to run the "repair libraries" on E4K for the fix to work.

hi with emby server 49190 I cannot use the latest beta 12.3.4. cache isn't working, I have stutter on every movie, loading a movie needs a minute.. going back to 12.1.2 solves all that and I have perfectly running system. 

is this a normal behavior because my server version isn't compatible with the latest beta? I remember to have read some dependencies but I cannot find them anymore in the description.

Yes, still on vacation. I check it when I'm back. Sounds kinda strange, that an older version works. Are you sure you used the same plugin settings on both versions? As far as I remember, I haven't changed anything in playback. Maybe something on the server side....

I'm new to this and wanted to ask a few questions. I have a huge library, and it's been scanning it since last night and is still only at 17%. Is that normal? Also, do I only need to install the plugin.service.emby-next-gen-12.3.4.zip file? And lastly, which skin is recommended? Embary? Thanks

• The service is the first thing you should install, the other 3, if wanted, depend on the service
• Also install Kodi companion from the Emby plugin catalogue 
• there is no required skin.  I like AF2, QM likes an Estuary mod.

And about the library scan, is it normal for it to take so long? It's been over 15 hours.

No, I've got 2000+ movies/episodes and it took no more than 30 minutes.

I'm back from vacation. Currently I'm running 4.9.2.6 beta and has no playback issues. I didn't perform a test with 4.9.1.90 stable but with 4.9.1.80 stable. Does this issue only appear with 4.9.1.90?

One thing, when it asks what you want to sync, do you select all of them or do it one by one? I selected all of them; I don't know if that matters. And I've only installed the plugin service; I haven't installed the others yet. I don't know if that's relevant either. I have a Vontar X4 with CoreElec.
