There are some strm files from about 10 years ago that i have not replaced but that would be <0.01% of the files. You can check.

I replaced my database with yours and I can see the musicvideos. Of course not playable but you said you cannot see anything. Which skin do you use?

A modded version of Estuary that uses nodes to populate the widgets. You are correct, the music videos are showing up in Estuary. I will investigate. My apologies for wasting your time.

Thank you, pretty much everything everything works in the new version! Some shows still don't show ratings and it seems to be for shows with multiple versions for example LEGO Masters (US). It does show in the synced nodes. Not a big deal though.

 

I don't mind using only synced nodes but it seems like the hybrid node was the only way I could get a continue watching node that matches what Emby has?

Emby stable 4.8.11.0, Kodi 21.2, E4K 12.1.2, TvTunes 2.1.1, Estuary MOD V2 21.2.1

Theme media playback has not been working for me with the E4K 12.x series, it worked fine with E4K 11.x.  A kodi DB reset was done when upgrading to 12.x.  Themes are enabled in "remote" mode.

Debug log attached, timestamp 2025-08-02 16:27:09.409 should be where the theme playback attempt begins.  Theme playback is good in other clients (web, Roku).

If I can provide any other info just let me know.  Thanks again!

"Re"-synching Kodi favorits (by switching the option "sync emby favorits with kodi favorits" OFF, then ON again) with emby favorits works only correct for tv-shows, but not for movies.

TV-Shows will resyc, but movies will either not again added to favorites.xml, or only 1-2 movies. Marking a new movie in emby as favorit the client will sync it in time with the favorite.xml.

Starting a database repair for the movie database the favoites will be repopulate (almost) correctly.

Some correction to my last post:

The database repaire gave me a total wired result. the order in the "started movies" widget was compared to emby and the other clients totaly wrong, Also almost all movies in kodi favorites was wrong, most of them are not even emby favorites.

Dropping and readding movies did it...maybe there is also some quirk in the database repair option...

All on Kodi 21.2 / Coreelec / ODroid N2+

New bug, but this may not be Emby For Kodi (Next Gen).

Setup: Kodi 21.2 on Nvidia Shield Pro, Emby Server 4.8.11 on QNAP NAS, Embuary Skin, Emby for Kodi (Next Gen) 12.1.2, Emby for Kodi Next Gen Video Helper 10.1.2

Since upgrading to version 12.1.2 my Nvidia Shield Pro has started complaining about lack of space. I did some checking and it seems that the Embury Helper is creating temporary files (see attached image) which is filling up the internal hard drive. As far as I know it wasn't doing this before version 12.1.2. Despite these files being labeled as JPEGs, they are video files, specifically the ones that I was watching last night. Deleting them from the temp directory doesn't seem to break anything, but of course I can't watch more than a few episodes without the drive filling up again. I assume they are supposed to be cleared automatically, but something seems to be stopping that from happening. Any ideas?

Sorry, I had no time yet to run some tests.

I usually disable all those helper plugins. You don't need them if the skin is configured using the plugins custom node.

Recently tried to add a few collections from my My Media/BluRay Collections folder.

Works fine when using (Dynamic Node) emby_dynamic_movies_Blu-Ray_collections/Folder_folder.xlm
The new items are showing up fine, and work when selected.

But not when using (Sync Node) Blu-ray_collections/sets.xlm
The existing folders/collections show up and work fine, but the new and changed
movies do not. (currently 39 items in sync mode, and 41 in dynamic mode).

I have tried Manage Libraries/Refresh Boxsets, Update libraries, and Repair libraries.
No Change.

My main issue is that for some reason, Kodi/Aeon Nox Silvo will not allow poster
view with Dynamic Mode.  It shows them as "list, "Icons" or "wall"
which for movies looks not so good. 

I suspect there was a change in Emby (I'm running the latest Beta)
But I don't know exactly when the changes occurred as I have not added to that
Folder/Collection in some time.

Also, I'm not sure if it's my setup or intentional.  When I reboot
Kodi, I must go back into the add-on and Enable LiveTv again.
For some reason after rebooting, It gets reset.

My Device: NVidia Shield 2017 Android Ver: 11  Shield Ver 9.2.0
Kodi Version: 21.2 Stable
Skin: Aeon Nox Silvo
Emby for Kodi Next Gen Ver: 12.1.2

Please let me know what logs, and what if any queries you'd like me to do before
