Well I have limited testing option as I have only one mixed library on my setup. I was not able to trigger the issue you have, but I continue testing. Do you have any Idea what the numbers reflect? In some way they must be related to the episodes.

No, not a clue. Perhaps some sort of internal Emby episode ID?

I looked through half a dozen shows and all the numbers seem to be unique. I had some with 2-digit numbers through the 5-digit numbers shown in the picture.

I might just bite the bullet and make note of what episode I'm on on all the shows I'm currently watching, then re-create the TV library and see if & how many issues that solves.

Sounds good, thanks! I don't think the server does use any franchises either. I think they're using some similarity measure (to find trailers that are somewhat like the movie that you're about to watch) that is to strict and only returns sequels and prequels if they exist, because they are the most similar.

How does Tone Mapping with E4K work? I have an HDR video that Tone Mapping works with when playing in the Emby app on my PC. But when I play the video with E4K all colors are washed out which is an clear sign that Tone Mapping is not happening. Thoughts?

The first line seems to indicate that the new version is 12.3.7, but the change log line indicates that the latest version is 12.3.8.

After actually looking in Kodi, I see that the latest version is actually 12.3.8, and I'm installing that now. Maybe update the first line?

Trailer: In previous version the addon pulled the data from the server, now they are synced and used for cinema mode.

Sync extras helps performance for hybrid nodes, not a very common use case.

Thanks for the new update.  Have a question about the new Sync Themes option that allows you to play movie/tv theme songs.  Will there be extra control added to this feature as new updates are rolled out?  Reason I ask is that with TVTUNES I can tell it not to play movie theme songs and to only play tv theme songs when I enter the TV Show and view the seasons.  I prefer not to move from one tv show to another and have the tv theme song play, I prefer the tv show play when I am in the tv show viewing the seasons and episodes.

The delete option is disabled by default. Nothing you should worry. When you enable it (what I don't recommend) you have the option to delete content from Emby server manually. Actually it's very reliable, anyway I cannot test each and every use case and delete content is something you cannot undo.

Yes, I have disabled the delete option also on my Emby server. I do media deletions only directly from the file system.

Yes, I will add additional options. Main focus was stability as tvtunes always had issues especially when autoplay next was enabled for remote themes.

@quickmicAfter updating to 12.4.0 and resetting the database, I am no longer able to add my TV library. The Movie library syncs fine. I've attached the log from the scan.

I rolled back to 12.3.8, and I was able to add the TV library without an issue. I updated to 12.4.0 again, and the TV library could not be added.

Thanks, I can see the issue. I'll fix it in next version. Seems one of the date values is too high/incorrect. I replaced the dateutil library as it's not a standard python library.

fyi, I prepared the plugin code to make it python "no-gil" ready. I hope some day Kodi will switch to no-gil which would result in a huge performance gain (real CPU multicore support).

Depends, transcoding only works with http protocol. If you don't use it, you can set it back to dav to supports bookmark image extraction.

ffmpeg implemented a file/header verification when using hls streams. Even as I set everything correct, Kodi does not respect the content-type changes/file extension changes on 30X redirects when using dav protocol.

I bought the Ugoos AM6b+ and just installed Coreelec on it. Nothing else has been done so far.  I did this to replace my Nvidia Shield Pro.  I don't really know anything about Kodi, so this is all new to me. I've been doing some reading but honestly it's quite confusing at the moment.

I've been searching for a guide that walks you through how to install emby next gen, but there's so much confusing material out there. Is there anything you can point me to that walks through the steps of installing?

I wrote up a quick Mark Down File. I'm assuming you have already flashed CorElEC on your Ugoos amb6+. This will get you started its alot but i have given you good links to get started.Emby-Kodi-Installation-Guide.md
