You must use the path substitution (or how Emby calls it "Optional shared network folder") on Emby server (not Kodi). I already explained it, the server must report the "correct/modified" path to plugin while sync (every path substitution change on Emby server requires a repair sync on Kodi/plugin). This is the golden piece of information I didn't have. I wasn't aware of optional shared network folder. This step should be at least mentioned in the github wiki or the FAQ here. I'll try it later today after work and check if this works with native access. 1
Veggav 10 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Just wanted to say it worked! This is all I ever wanted. I'm using a homatics r 4k box that can play dolby vision profile 7 FEL (only from mkv) and using coreelec it can also play 4k bluray iso in dolby vision (without FEL) but still.. It's the best we can get from a single device. Emby managing artwork and library.. beautiful interface in kodi and iso support. That's great. Thank you for your hard work in this addon. 1
geowill76 8 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Hi Quickmic Not sure if something has changed with plugin but having problems getting Kodi to pick up the fact I have local trailers. I am running the following setup: Kodi Version: 21.3 Skin: Bingie v2.0.2 Emby Server Plugin 12.4.13 The issue I seem to be having is that Bingie won't play any of my local trailers, either on spotlight or widgets, even when I browse my movies by enabling autoplay trailer or going into the information of the movie and pressing the trailer button. I have my trailers named in the same folder as the movie, ie Arrival (2006).mkv + Arrival (2006)-trailer.mp4 This use to work a while ago and only thing that has changed is that I have been updating my Emby plugin to the latest version. Is there anything you can do to help? I opened ticked in the Kodi Bingie forum and local trailers are working for them. Only difference is they have the media local and I am using the Emby plugin to sync the info.
