kira yamato 21 Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 How can we set it to display the episode’s metadata image instead of the poster that’s embedded within the video?

As I understand, “image capture” captures a frame from that file to generate a cover, right? However, some videos have an attached cover picture, so the emby keeps using those over other priorities.

GrimReaper 4740 Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 In that case it shouldn't be happening. Could you reproduce the issue and post server log for the timeframe where embedded artwork was used instead? How to Report a Problem

How to Report a Problem Oh, I just realized that there’s no image data from higher priority available. So, the priority should be fine, but I’d like it to generate a cover instead of allowing them to choose their own cover from the video file. Is there a way to do this?
