Skip forward/backward 10 minutes in recordings

Is there a way to make a big skip forward/backward by 10 minutes or so?  This is very useful when watching sports in particular.  I know there are chapters but these are not available in in-progress recordings.

Hi, not exactly, but what about sped up fast forwarding at 4x ?

Using that you have to remember where you started from and the video doesn't update if you are paused.  A single big skip would be best.
