SimonS75 3 Posted June 8, 2025 Posted June 8, 2025 Hi everyone. Maybe i'm missing a setting somewhere, but when I download a bunch of movies (More than 50) to keep for offline viewing later, I can only see the first 50 items in the downloads page when offline. This specifically happens when i'm offline and have no server access. When I'm online, I can use the normal library to find and play the downloaded version, but when there's no access to the server and I choose Downloads>Movies, I can only see 50 items, with no option to go to the next page, or change the limit to more than 50. I can sort them Z->A so I can see the last 50 items which helps a little but it's still frustrating. Is this just how it is? Or do I have to do something to see them all? Thanks in advance.
Luke 42077 Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 Hi, what Emby app version is this and on what device? 1
SimonS75 3 Posted June 10, 2025 Author Posted June 10, 2025 Yeah, sorry. I should have included that. Emby Windows 2.234.2.0, from the Windows store, running on a Windows PC. It seems to be a problem on both the TV and Movies sections. The Windows app is really problematic with downloads. First, the repeated duplicated downloads, and then when something does finally download, I can't see it. Hopefully the linux app will be ready soon and I can switch.
jasonwilliams 36 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Hello, I'm using the latest Windows store app, and if I select a playlist and choose "Download To", it only seems to download around 50 items, despite there being no limit specified. I've also tried setting the limit at 999999, but makes no difference. Is this a limitation?

Luke 42077 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Do either of you have android or iOS to see if the same thing occurs there when downloading the same content?
SimonS75 3 Posted June 11, 2025 Author Posted June 11, 2025 I can download more than 50 items on windows, I currently have about 150 movies stored for offline viewing. I just can't see anything beyond the first 50 items on the download page. The movies exist on the device, I can access them with file explorer or VLC or whatever, I just can't get the full list on the Emby app.

jasonwilliams 36 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Yes- the files are missing from the folder, that's how I know they didn't sync (I'm not in offline mode). In case it matters, I am downloading music, not movies. @LukeI have the Android app as well. I will try it there.

jasonwilliams 36 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Where will I find the files on Android? I see in the app settings it says Internal Storage, but I can't seem to find anything.

jasonwilliams 36 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I see the items in Emby for Android under Downloads, and there are more than fifty, but I can't seem to find the actual files. The screen says they are stored in: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.mb.android/files/Download/Music/Artist/Album/Song.mp3 but I can't browse to that location. I also don't see a Music folder under Download. 1
