pwhodges 2012 Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 The files I'm testing are audio files in an audio library, not video. They are surround (some 4.0, some 5.1). Unless otherwise noted, all play correctly in the web client. 4.0 & 5.1 aac audio is handled correctly in both mp4 (.m4a) and mks (.mka) containers, and I can play the surround as expected. 4.0 ac3 audio is played, but in stereo, in both mks (.mka) and raw (.ac3) containers. 4.0 opus in ogg (.opus) does not play - just hangs (2.0 .opus files play correctly) 5.1 dts in mks (.mka) or wav (.dts or .wav) does not play - just hangs. 4.0 aac in atds container (.aac) does not play. The web client used to play this, but currently says "no compatible streams available". This format is of no importance. Paul
softworkz 5065 Posted June 8, 2025 Posted June 8, 2025 (edited) Hi Paul, could you please upload an example for each type that doesn't play properly? We won't be able to make them direct-playing, but we'll need to make sure they are getting transcoded or remuxed by the server at least. I've sent you a link for private upload. pwhodges 2012 Posted June 8, 2025 Author Posted June 8, 2025 OK, done. Oops, I included a couple that do work; but the names are self-explanatory. Paul
