brothom 177 Posted June 5, 2025 Author Posted June 5, 2025 (edited) @Happy2Playwhat also might an alternative to ordering, is being able to set a specific order of providers to be able to workaround nasty data issues like these. That way someone could change the provider order for a specific show / season (or maybe just per entry) so that the fetched meta data can be corrected that way. I.e: Series -> Seasons -> Episodes -> -> Edit Meta Data -> Change Meta Data Provider order I can expect that to have quite a lot of impact when implementing tho because the refresher would also need to look at per series, per season or per episode provider orders. TMDB TVDB But by default each provider will not match. Edited June 5, 2025 by Happy2Play
brothom 177 Posted June 5, 2025 Author Posted June 5, 2025 Oh well. At least we HAVE these providers nowadays which is way better than how it was way back. Anyway this is not an Emby issue and can be resolved if you wish.
Lessaj 467 Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Oh wow I didn't even realize on my test system I had TheMovieDB selected for season metadata downloaders! Okay that explained a lot. I was able to get it to pick up Season 2 properly now. I really don't use this system for much of anything.
