Removing custom css?

So I thought it would be fun playing around with custom css, now I am done and want to go back to the origial, but how?

I try to delete the custom css, but it doesnt help.

I learned that it's just in the browser cache when it was removed from the settings pages.

Simply empty this one or CTRL + Shift + R normaly refreshes the page correctly

But like written - this was it for my case - maybe also for you?

Hi, I just tested this and it changed immediately just fine, both adding and removing custom css. This is on localhost. Any change to custom css causes the web app to refresh immediately after clicking save.

No matter what I do the Custom CSS is still there. I cant seem to remove it.

Can you post a server log when you tried to remove the custom css and hit save?

beforeremoving and back is not the same image.

Between removed and back I click Dashboard and back to General.

Your screen shots are not displaying the SAVE button at the bottom of that page - are you perhaps not seeing and pressing it?

Yep that suggest you are not hitting save as your not seeing the api call to post the new settings for Branding.

Thank you all for pointing out something I would have done, if there where a save button.

I do not have a save button, no idea if the theme removed it or not.

CSS is only effective in the Web client.  If you use another client to remove the CSS then you shouldn't have this problem.

I know it only affects the web client, and using the Embby client on the computer made it go away, that one had a SAVE button...

In the web ui there wher no save button, using the Emby app on WIndows I was able to remove and save. 

Now when the ui is back to "normal" I do have a Save button, so it seems like the theme did remove the save button.

Without knowing the exact custom css you were using it is hard to say but is possible someone removed the buttons by mistake.

I was a one that would make Emby look more like Plex. It was not even close apart from the colours.
