Playing media does't show up on dashboard

I have a emby server running, when I play a media from a web browser it shows under Dashboard -> Now playing.
But when I play media from my AppleTV using the Emby app nothing shows at Dashboard -> Now playing.

Playing from outside, so to speak, using my iPhone it shows.

Is this normal?
