Playback not tracking

Hello, I am having an issue with emby not connecting / not registering playback when connected. So I think these issues may go together. First I have trouble connecting to emby through Chromecast. Everytime I try to connect it just does a loading Circe I have to leave the app multiple times just to connect and once I can finally get it connect it doesn't keep track of my playback. It will play the movie but the track timer stays at 0:00 and nothing is left in continue watching if the movie is paused or stopped and then we have to scroll through the movie to figure out where we left off. Sometimes when I stop the Chromecast the movie keeps playing even though the screen has stopped and shows nothing playing. Any advise ?

Hello Luke, sorry if I'm confused but I thought that's what I did with the above post. Sorry am I missing something ? I did create this post in media playback issue. Do I need to explain in better terms. Or attach photos ?

• Please attach the server log from the time frame the activity occurred. See the section below titled Emby Server Logs. Please supply the full and complete log file in txt format. Please don't zip or compress, and avoid attempting to extract relevant sections. Everything is relevant to us. If a server transcoding log (ffmpeg log) was also generated during playback (in the server logs folder), please attach that as well.
