Unable to connect to Remote (WAN) access from my LAN

Does anybody know why I can no longer connect to emby using my external ip address while I'm connected to my home network?  I can connect remotely when I'm remote. It's causing an issue using Synfonium. Also I need to bookmarks in my laptops browser now. 

I don't think it's my router because I just set up a different media server that uses upnp to automatically forward the ports and that works fine.

Since you can connect Remotely Emby and router are configured correctly.

Most likely a Router issue as most home routers will not allow hairpin loopbacks.  I know on my Linksys route I cannot connect to my WAN address on my LAN.

Maybe my router updated itself. It has worked fine for a long time but has suddenly stopped.

Right, nowadays most routers don't allow this, so for most users I would not expect it to work anyway.
