Where are downloads stored?

I can't find any of my files I've downloaded on the Android app on my TV (it's the Android app and not the Android TV app) I've read that it should be on the Android data folder for Emby. That folder is empty. I then noticed there was a setting to change the download from internal to external (downloads) so I tried that. There is nothing in my downloads folder. Where is Emby saving these downloads? Thanks very much

I doubt your TV has enough space to download anything. More than likely it attempted to download and then aborted. Most smart TV's have a limit of 4-8GB of storage, and that's it.

My tv, a Sony Bravia 7, has 16 GB of storage and 12 GB spare. I downloaded a 1.2 GB file and it is nowhere to be found. That's why I'm asking where Emby stores these downloads

Never mind, it turns out downloads are a feature of Emby premiere. I didn't get anything informing me of this when trying to do a download, it just says 'queued' without anything telling me I need to have the premier subscription.

Okay thanks. Just to let you know there is no indication you have to get Emby premiere on my TV running Android 12. But on the onn 4k plus running Android 14 there is a page asking you to upgrade to premiere (PS, as well as free hardware acceleration on jellyfin, you also get free download capability..... This is making it more and more difficult to stay with Emby)l
