Hunter99507 9 Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 I think it would be great to add your themes color in the seek bar or play bar, kinda like it is in the android tv app. It would add a bunch of contrast to all of the white layout. 2

I do not think it would add much to the user experience but I guess it also would not make any difference to me so, if Emby wants, they can add extra code to the interface. I just do not see any advantage to the change. 1

I think the majority of the streaming apps have this contrast in the seek bar, so I don't believe this is a wild idea. Also this should just be a couple of lines of code so I don't believe it's that big of a problem. Anyway one man's opinion, but adding additional functionality to improve the user experience it always a good thing whether the user chooses to enable or not.

That's one way of doing it. Another equally nice way of doing it is the apple style translucent seek bar.

If Plex does it then it is probably NOT either user friendly or a good idea. 1
Neminem 1518 Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Well if Plex does it, then Emby should do it, Right ? Emby raise your prices .
