How to do a Clean Reinstall and get correct metadata

I am currently trying to remove Emby and all Metadata from 723+ (latest firmware/DSM). I wanted to do this because most of the metadata appear missing or incomplete and sometimes completely wrong. I had previously removed

var/packages/EmbyServer/ and all subfolders and reinstalled Emby but the old collections folder is still there as are the wrong/missing metadata. 

I really would like to be able to get correct metadata from various sources for my library so I know what I am looking at when I login to Emby. 

for those of us who are not experts, but are knowledgeable enough to SSH, can someone help with step by step instructions please?

Hi, the way to do a fresh start is to delete the server data folder:

/var/packages/EmbyServer/var

Emby Server Data Folder

hi there, I did try that once. and did not work. I am attaching incorrect metadata for one movie here as an example. I really would like to get this sorted out because may of the movies are incorrectly labeled like this.

When you say incorrect, what should it be?

the first image has some of the correct information: the movie is actually called the Insult. the picture about "naked gun" is completely wrong

What are the contents of the movie folder?

.mp4 and .srt files in each subfolder and nothing else.

/movies/(movie_name)/movie.mp4

/movies/(movie_name)/movie.srt

that is all. No hidden files, no png, no jpg or other files anywhere in /movies folder or subfolders.
