Luke 42077 Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Hi, can you please attach the image to this forum posting? Also what version of Emby Server are you running?
Testfor69 21 Posted May 29, 2025 Author Posted May 29, 2025 Ah , ohkai, Yes I can, and Version 4.8.11.0 Thanks for reply...
Luke 42077 Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Were the playlists created on 4.8 or on an older version?
Testfor69 21 Posted May 29, 2025 Author Posted May 29, 2025 (edited) 4.8.11.0 I am new to EMBY Serve down the road (only since Saturday..xD) Could it be because you have to deactivate this explicitly for radio plays and music? Edited May 29, 2025 by Testfor69
Luke 42077 Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 Quote deactivate this explicitly for radio plays and music? deactivate what exactly? How were the playlists created? It's odd that they're all named _play ?

Thanks ! Deactivate what exactly? -> that the playlists are created from the album of the music/listening games How were the playlists created? -> they were created automatically after I added the music & radio play folders and ran the library scan It is strange that they all have the name _play ? Yes, exactly, and behind it is either a title from an album, several titles from radio plays etc... *********** Thanks for your time and sorry for the complicated writing / thinking...;)
Luke 42077 Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 OK so you have playlist files in your music folders, correct?

user24 312 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Hi there, from the screenshot examples you have supplied, it looks like Emby is possibly importing/creating playlists from .m3u playlist files that already exist in your source music library folders (outside of Emby). If that is the case, then you can stop this from happening by deselecting the Import playlist files Library Setting: 1
Testfor69 21 Posted June 4, 2025 Author Posted June 4, 2025 Great, tha was on...ohkai, I try..THANKs a lot !!! 1
