After upgrading to Emby 4.8 on QNAP load times for music library are noticeably - and intolerably - low

By contrast the Plex server I have running on the same QNAP and the same wi-fi loads lightning fast.

HI, the 4.8 server added quite a bit of new features, and in some cases may not perform as quickly as 4.7, particularly with music. This has been resolved as part of the upcoming 4.9 release. Thanks.

I appreciate the update and that makes a lot of sense. 1) Can you give us a timeline as to when 4.9 will be released? 2) Will it address the Carplay issues that have been raised elsewhere?

Update. 

I just opened up the web browser and my music library loaded flawlessly. embyserver (4).txt
